Topic: Autodesk BIM 360 Field: Driving Efficiencies in Quality and Safety  Management Workflow

Speaker: Iyas Mahzan

Date: 12 April 2017

Time: 11.00am - 12.00pm

Venue: Room 3

Speaker Profile:

Muhammad Iyas B. As a graduate of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Cal Poly Pomona, USA, his academical excellence has proven to be beneficial in developing the appropriate modules for the development of Malaysia’s human resource especially in the software training. He is also an HRDF TTT-certified trainer.

Synopsis:

This seminar discusses on how Building Information Modelling can be assimilated into the existing BIM workflow beginning from the design phase until implementation and maintenance to ensure high quality project safety compliance. Identify the potentials of multiple instances during the project development where safety professionals could contribute. BIM 360 can help in detecting potential hazards as early as the design stage by applying model checking algorithms paired with variables and parameters subject to the local and international standards of safety. This new technology can collaborate with existing Revit model to be used in monitoring construction works while addressing the hazards present nearby.
